Grand Timber Lodge welcomes you to the perfect family resort in the perfect mountain town, Breckenridge, Colorado. Home to one of the largest and most popular ski resorts in the country Breckenridge is a year-round destination offering adventure, relaxation, a rich mining history and a world-class ski resort.
Tucked between Peaks 8 and 9 of the Breckenridge Ski Resort and just a short distance from all of the best downtown Breckenridge has to offer, Grand Timber Lodge features timber-frame construction, well-appointed interiors, luxurious amenities and the finest customer service available.
Tall stone columns support a huge wooden carport at the entrance of the Grand Timber Lodge. However, despite its timber-frame construction, it lacks authenticity; essentially, it’s a time-share condo property dressed up as a sprawling mountain lodge. The lobby has stone tiled floors and a dark, narrow reception area that does not take advantage of the views. The grounds, however, are the real deal, with flower gardens between each building and a dramatic wooded landscape in every direction.
Located ski-in/ski-out to Peaks 8 and 9, and only minutes from town, Grand Timber Lodge is your family’s playground.
Active families will love a vacation at Grand Timber Lodge! Located in the heart of Breckenridge, Colorado, you’re genuinely only minutes away from endless outdoor adventure. Rooms at Grand Timber Lodge
Comfortable accommodations are offered in studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts to suit your needs. With ample space and convenient features, you’ll feel right at home while enjoying the luxury amenities of a high-end resort. Larger units offer cozy fireplaces, jacuzzi tubs, and private balconies with mountain views—perfect for a group ski getaway.
The hotel has 157 studio and one- to three-bedroom condos, may of which are time-share rentals. As a time-share property, the quality of the 157 condos can vary, and the decor is dated overall, but each unit has a kitchenette or full kitchen
The decor is dated, but not beyond what is acceptable for a mid-range property. Heavy wooden furniture and wildlife artwork add a touch of mountain flair, though most of the furnishings are generic. Studio units are on the small side, but have kitchenettes that pack in coffeemakers, mini-fridges, microwaves, two-burner stoves, and mini-dishwashers. Sitting areas have sofa beds and flat-screen TVs.
The larger units sleep up to 10 people and add full kitchens with breakfast bars, dining rooms, and living rooms with gas fireplaces. Private balconies have views that vary from mountains to pool vistas. Each unit has a tiled bathroom with a walk-in shower or shower/tub combo, while larger condos add jetted tubs.
