The GoPro Mountain Games are the country’s largest celebration of adventure sports, art, and music. The GoPro Mountain Games typically feature sponsor tents and activations from more than 140 sponsors, known as “Gear Town.” Additionally, some competition venues will be eliminated, and others will be moved to create firm boundaries where capacity and physical distancing can be managed. We will also have caps on athlete numbers depending on the event and venue.
Remember that the Town of Vail and its hotels, restaurants, and outdoor hiking and biking trails will remain open and active during the GoPro Mountain Games. Visitors are encouraged to visit the Town of Vail and enjoy it while adhering to state and local public health guidelines.
BRAVO! Vail Music Festival
Another festival to start summer is the Bravo! Vail Music Festival features classical music with Vail’s most beautiful sceneries as its backdrop. It’s held every summer, starting in late June through early August.
Vail BRAVO’s 34th Season is on the horizon, and we are gearing up for a vibrant summer of music in the beautiful Vail Valley. The 2021 Bravo! Vail Music Festival showcases four phenomenal orchestras throughout the season: the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, The Philadelphia Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic.
As in summers past, chamber music will play a vital role this year, with programs highlighting both old favorites and contemporary works. The return of free concerts throughout the summer will bring no-cost programs to the community in an approachable way.
Bravo! Vail is dedicated to enriching people’s lives through the power of music. Therefore, the community is working on innovative and safe ways to bring music to the Vail Valley during the summer. Vail Farmers Market and Art Show
The Vail Farmers Market is entering its 20th year in Vail on Meadow Drive. The event started with a few tents and has now grown to over 100 tents for 16 summer Sundays.
Enjoy strolling down East Meadow Drive in Vail while tasting treats from Colorado. Parking for the Market is at the Vail Village Parking or Lionshead Parking.
The first two markets will be virtual this year. Shopping may start on June 14, with shipping/delivery and pickup on June 21. Parking for the Market is at Vail Village Parking or Lionshead Parking. The Market begins on Father’s Day in June and goes through early October. Any vendors that are not Town of Vail businesses have made products in Colorado.

Vail Farmer’s Market Farm-to-Table Dinner

The Vail Dance Festival is a two-week celebration of exceptional artistry held each summer in the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
We look forward to an in-person with Calvin Royal III as our Artist-In-Residence and BalletX as our Company-In-Residence, and many of the extraordinary dancers, musicians, and artists who call the Vail Dance Festival their summer home! We are planning a lively Festival of performances, free events for the community, and education activities, including Celebrate the Beat for local children.*
Due to potential limitations on venue capacity, we are ticketing in tiered groups this season. The donor pre-sale will begin at the end of April, and tickets are scheduled to go on sale to the public at the end of May.**
